We’re on the hunt for an Engineering Lead to take our tech team to the next level. You’ll be at the heart of innovation, guiding a talented group of engineers while shaping the future of our platform. If you’re passionate about technical excellence, mentoring others, and building scalable solutions, this role is for you!

📍 Based in Ghent, with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

🔥 What you’ll be doing

• Leading the way – Define the technical strategy with our Head of Product & Engineering and drive its execution. You’ll design, develop, and deploy top-notch software solutions that scale #LeadTheWay

• Empowering the team – Mentor, guide, and inspire engineers to reach their full potential. You foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous growth #UnitedByGrowth

• Optimizing processes – Streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and ensure our engineering team operates at peak performance. Agile methodologies and CI/CD best practices? You’ve got them covered!

• Innovating & scaling – Tackle complex technical challenges, refine our data infrastructure, and future-proof our architecture.

💡 What makes you a great fit

• Tech-savvy leader – 6+ years in engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. You’ve mastered our stack (TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, Databricks, Spark & Python) and have hands-on cloud scaling experience (Google Cloud).

• People-first mindset – You genuinely enjoy coaching and helping engineers grow, creating an environment where everyone thrives #CandidCandor

• Business-driven thinker – You align technical decisions with company goals, balancing innovation with efficiency.

• Startup-ready – Fast-paced environments excite you. You embrace change, tackle challenges head-on, and know how to prioritize what truly matters.

• Fluent in English – Dutch is a bonus, but not a must.
