We are on the lookout for an ambitious, high-energy Marketing Lead!
As our brand new Marketing Lead, youâll be our first marketing hire, reporting directly to the Head of Go-to-Market. This is a unique opportunity to lay the foundation of our marketing strategy while getting hands-on to execute campaigns and initiatives. Over time, youâll build and lead a team of marketers as we scale.
Weâre looking for someone with a T-shaped profile, you have broad knowledge across various marketing disciplines and deep expertise in one or two areas. Youâll thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing entrepreneurial energy, a proactive mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement to the table.
This role is located in Ghent, with flexibility for working from home 2 days per week.

Hereâs what youâll be doing:
Strategic Leadership: Develop the guidelines for our marketing strategy and align it with our business goals, taking ownership for our marketing segmentation, targeting & positioning.
Operational Execution: Roll up your sleeves to design, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Inbound Lead Generation: Capturing existing demand through digital marketing strategies.
Demand generation and brand building: Create demand for our category by leveraging a mix of inbound and outbound tactics, including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and events.
Product Positioning and Marketing with a Growth-Oriented Focus: Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention with creative and data-driven initiatives. You will be responsible for the communication around product feature releases, changes and sunsetting. The ability to express our value and speed of delivery to our customers will differentiate us from competitors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and other teams to ensure marketing supports our overall strategy.
Performance Analysis and Optimization: Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, track key performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
Job requirements
To excel it in this role, you should have/be
Leadership Experience: Proven track record (min 3 years) of success in generic marketing roles, within the tech industry or SaaS startups.
Passion for Marketing: Hands-on experience across various marketing disciplines, including digital marketing, content marketing, lead generation, and branding, and a good understanding of SaaS dynamics.
Strategic & Hands-On: You can think big-picture and are just as comfortable diving into the details to get things done. Your strategic thinking allows you to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans and initiatives.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: You take ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and are always looking for ways to improve.
Cultural Champion: You bring intrinsic motivation, adaptability, and a âpay it forwardâ mindset to work every day.
Fluency in Dutch and English: You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
