Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer to join our team and help build our innovative solution and conquer the world… of course.

You'll be at the forefront of building cutting-edge products that redefine the industry. If you're a seasoned pro with a knack for TypeScript, and you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, we want you on our team!

This role is located in Ghent, with flexibility for working from home half of your time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teamwork makes the dream work! Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions that meet our business objectives.
• Coding…what else? Take ownership of both frontend and backend development tasks, from writing clean, maintainable code to optimizing performance and scalability.
• Raise the bar! Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code quality and best practices are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies like React.
• Keep on learning and growing Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development, and actively contribute to our tech stack evolution.
• Flexibility Embrace the startup mentality by being adaptable, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges as we grow and scale.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Elastic, React framework, GRaphQL and MySQL with a strong understanding of functional programming paradigms.
• You have an affinity with data and AI
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
• You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team. You thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, energetic environment.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• We love to connect face2face, so you can come to the office in Ghent min 3 days a week.
